The Dupont Brewery is an old farm whose origins date back to 1759. In 1844, it became the Rimaux-Derrider farm-brewery, specializing in the production of honey beer and Saison type beer.
This name comes from the fact that brewery farms produced this type of beer in winter to consume it on the fields in summer.
Today, it is the children and grandchildren of Sylva Rosier who own the Brasserie Dupont. Grandson of Sylva Rosier and son of Ghislaine, Olivier Dedeycker joined the company in 1990 as a brewing engineer.
In 2002, he succeeded his uncle Marc Rosier at the head of the family brewery and therefore represents the 4th generation of this family of brewers.
