Château Bouscassé is the original home of Alain Brumont. The soil here is different from Montus, being clay, limestone and grès, a limestone rock. The vines – made up of 70% Tannat, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc – are 60-85 years old. Tour de Bouscassé comes from the young vines and is 60% Tannat, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc.
