Owned by talented winemaker, Christian Veyry (he was the superstar wine maker at Pomerol`s Ch Gazin and now consults for numerous famous ch�teaux in Bordeaux and Cahors) . Chateau Louvie is located in the heart of the region. Planted on soils of clay and sand, these beautiful vineyards have a average age of 35 years. The blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon creates a wine which has a soft and smooth mouthfeel with plenty of berry and plum fruits combined with woodland sents and a long savoury finish.

Chateau Louvie is located in the district of Saint Laurent des Combes, on beautiful soils of clay and sand, on slopes and plateau. The estate belongs to Christian Veyry, who also owns Chateau Veyry in the Cotes de Castillon. A winegrower`s son, he is a talented wine-maker as well as a consultant oenologist.

St Emilion and Pomerol sit next to each other on the right bank of Bordeaux. St Emilion is home to some of the most prestigious wines in the world such as Cheval Blanc and Angelus. Only red wine qualifies for the appellation and is predominately made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
