We are delighted to introduce Chaume-Arnaud to our Southern Rhône portfolio. Vinsobres is the most Northerly of the Crus in the Southern Rhone and one of the highest at 400 to 450 metres. Organic since 1997 and biodynamic since 2003.

Vinsobres benefits not only from the Mistral (from the North) but also the ‘Pontias’ which blows from the East, and from the pre-Alps. They own 38 hectares, two of which are in neighbouring St Maurice.

Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and there is no oak ageing. A very fine range of wines.

The red wines are made from grenache, syrah, cinsault, mourvèdre for the AOP (Appellations Vinsobres, Cotes du Rhone Villages St Maurice, Cotes du Rhone).
