The Domaine des Mazelles was established in the late 1930s and extends over the hills of the Cher River Valley on the right bank of the village of Thézée, nearby the famous Châteaux of Chenonceau. The property now has 15 hectares of vineyards located in AOP Touraine, Chenonceaux and Crémant de Loire and features a special terroir of clay-siliceous flint-infused soil, and of some of the best exposure the valley has to offer.
