Established in 1776, Champagne Louis Roederer is one of the few remaining completely independent familyowned, great Champagne houses. By 1876 the House had achieved such a reputation for quality that the second Louis Roederer was asked by Tsar Alexander II to create Cristal for the exclusive use of the Russian Tsars and in so doing created the first ever Cuvée de
Prestige.

Louis Roederer's Carte Blanche NV Champagne is a demi sec, and so it has a little more residual sweetness.
It has flavours of honey with notes of ripe sweet, caramelised apple and almonds. All 3 Champagne grape varieties are used from more than 40 different plots.

It is matured for 3 years in the cellar and rested for 6 months after disgorgement to perfect maturity.
