Great Taste 2020 Award Winner Pesto!! A delicious Pesto with a sweet and slightly spicy taste, perfect as a condiment for pasta but also to enrich main courses and as an appetizer on croutons and bruschettas. A taste capable to seduce the most daring palates.

Rich and fragrant, Puro Mediterraneo basil pesto is made with olive oil, basil from Liguria, DOP Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and pine nuts. Our pesto is unpasteurised which allows the ingredients to retain all the nutritional values, smell and aromas of the raw elements themselves. What makes our pesto so rich and creamy? We make our Basil Pesto with DOP Parmesan cheese and 64 gr of fresh basil every 100 gr of pesto! We use only Genoese basil which gives a unique smell and aroma, comparable to no other basil.

Nduja is a typical Calabrian spicy spreadable salami. Simply made using minced pork meat, chilli peppers, salt and olive oil. A traditional recipe, without additives, preservatives or colourants. The fiery and rich taste make �Nduja perfect as a spread on bread but also an incredibly versatile ingredient that can be added to soups, stirred through pasta or used as a pizza topping.

Our story starts with a journey. We love exploring and experiencing diverse cultures. This gave us the opportunity to taste foods different from those we have always been used to. We have travelled most of the world and, during this time, have been lucky enough to enjoy meals in both the very best restaurants, and in the company of local people in some of the poorest places on the planet.

After so much time away from home, we began to crave what we had always taken for granted, a dish prepared with love and genuine ingredients, in the company of our friends and relatives.

We always thought that a fresh and carefully prepared meal was typical. However, having travelled the world and experienced a number of different cultures, we realised that in many places this does not happen and therefore how lucky we are. For this reason, we felt the need to bring our food heritage abroad to prove that the best food is the simplest and most natural.
