The Gassmanns are a family of epicureans. It is hardly surprising then that 10% of their wines are sold to some of the greatest Michelin-starred restaurants of France. These are food friendly wines which, for the most part, should not be drunk before 5 or 10 years. With age the acidity comes through to create the most perfectly balanced wines which sing with food.

Grape Variety: 100% Gewurztraminer, matured for a year in large, old, oak barrels

This is a rich style with 22g/l of residual sugar, despite this it finishes clean & spicy. It is a very versatie wine which matches well with white meats or poultry in creamy sauces and strong cheeses, particularly Munster.
