Producer: Terre Di Talamo

Terre di Talamo is located in the heart of the Morellino DOCG on a south and east-facing hill with direct maritime exposure. Compared with Chianti or Brunello the days are cooler, nights warmer, and Sangiovese ripens that bit quicker. Vintage variation is less acute and the tannins are softer.

Vintage Varieties: 85% Sangiovese, 10% Alicante,5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Superbly rich ruby-red appearance. Supple, medium-bodied and fragrant, Classic Maremma red characteristics on the nose, with crisp fruit fragrances melding beautifully with fruity aromas of cherry, plum and earthy notes of Mediterranean herbs. The palate exhibits a solid structure with impressive depth, and a judicious equilibrium between alcoholic warmth and tannic weave. Very long tasty finish.
