Founded in 1670, Warre's is the oldest British Port House and has remained a family owned company thoughout its long history. The backbone of Warre's Ports are made at Quinta da Cavadinha in the Pinhâo valley, and at the historic vineyard of Quinta do Retiro Antigo in the Rio Torto valley.

Warre’s Quinta da Cavadinha is one of the finest vineyard estates in the Douro and produces outstanding wines that are used to make Warre’s Classic Vintage Port.

In non-declared years, the best of the estate’s wines are bottled as single quinta Vintage Port. These wines share the same characteristic Warre’s style, with fine elegance and lifted floral aromas, but more closely reflect the unique characteristics of the Cavadinha vineyard.

Food pairing suggestion: One of the great strengths of Vintage Port is that it gives equal pleasure enjoyed young and after several decades in bottle. One of the best pairings with Vintage Port is cheese (cream cheese, blue cheese and cured cheese) but it can also be enjoyed alongside many desserts, or simply on its own.
