Gusbourne Estate - highest rated sparkling in decanter

Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2012 is toast of Decanter

We have been delighted to see that our current release Blanc de Blancs has been named as the highest rated sparkling wine, Champagne included, in Decanter magazine's "Most Exciting Wines of 2016."

Published in the January 2017 edition, which was released a couple of days ago, it stated,
"Lots of complexity on the nose and palate: refined brioche aromas and white fruit intensity in a powerful focused style. It is thrillingly zesty, structured and weighty so it has the ability to age well. There is a hint of wood ageing on this savoury, textured style. Fine mousse and excellent length too."

In a year which has seen Gusbourne receive England's first ever double Gold at the Sommelier World Wine Awards, and first ever double Platinum at the Decanter World Wine Awards, this is a testimony to not only our remarkable vineyard sites and meticulous winemaking approach, but to every one of our dedicated team who plays their part in making each bottle of Gusbourne special.

Réserve de Fleur 2014 - 89/100 '50 top Rhône reds £8 - £18' Decanter Magazine July 2016

We are delighted that the Reserve de Fleur 'Les Coumbarelles' 2014 Cotes Du Rhone has been awarded 89/100 by Decanter Magazine. Sadly the 2014 has nearly all gone so take advantage while stocks last.

As always, Réserve de Fleur is unoaked and unfiltered to enhance the texture and purity of fruit, It is thoroughly appealing and will satisfy the everyday wine drinker as well as those looking for something more complex.

Pollination Gin - Just delivered! Available to taste in store.

Made with wild Welsh botanicals foraged in the Dyfi Biosphere. Our passion is to produce an exceptional gin of world-class quality, which could come from nowhere else. The Dyfi is recognised by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, and provides us with an enviable and unique flora spectrum to draw upon, as well as a meticulous selection the finest classic gin botanicals. Pollination gin is produced by the highest standard London Dry method, in extremely limited small batches, using pure grain spirit and locally drawn spring water. Our foraged botanicals come from within the Biosphere: from the Snowdonia foothills, through the Dyfi Forest, and down to the estuary marshlands. On a canvas of carefully selected classic gin botanicals, we 'paint' the flavours only Dyfi can combine, including wild flowers, aromatic leaves, fruits and conifer tips. We steep these components together in a temperature-controlled maceration, before precision-distilling in our small Colorado stills. We can’t create Pollination Gin all year round, and in order to ensure sustainability, production is necessarily very limited. Each bottle is hand signed and lot-numbered.
45% alcohol by volume, non-chill filtered.
